Las Vegas Municipal Court Impulse Control Orders
Las Vegas Municipal Court runs an impulse control program of its own. If your order names a specific program, follow your order. Orders from Las Vegas Justice Court, Henderson, and North Las Vegas courts work the same way: each judge decides what counts.

Impulse Control Class: Common Questions
What is an impulse control class?
A court-ordered class teaching skills to pause before acting on anger: spotting warning signs, using time-outs, and choosing a different response.
Where can I take a court-ordered impulse control class in Las Vegas?
Our impulse control class meets every Saturday with a Nevada-licensed counselor, live by video for anyone in Nevada. Las Vegas Municipal Court also runs a program of its own. Check your order, and if your order allows any qualifying class, show your court our free letter before you pay.
Is impulse control the same as anger management?
Close. Las Vegas courts often use "impulse control" for the same kind of class. Check your paperwork for the exact wording and hours.
Is the impulse control class online?
Yes. Class meets live by video, led in real time by a Nevada-licensed counselor. Keep your camera on, and join from anywhere in Nevada.
How long is an impulse control class?
Las Vegas orders usually call for 8 hours, or 13 weekly sessions for extended impulse control. Your paperwork lists the length. Finish 8 hours in one Saturday by booking both sessions.
Do you offer domestic violence classes?
No. Domestic violence and domestic battery orders in Nevada require a state-certified program. Ask your attorney or the court for the list.
What if my court won't accept your class?
Send us the note or email from your court, attorney, or probation officer within 30 days of finishing, and we refund you in full.
